Who we are?

Manhasset Association of Chinese Americans (MACA) is a New York nonprofit public benefit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and the regulations issued thereunder. The Association shall advance better integration of Chinese community in Manhasset into the U.S. society by 

(1) providing education to Chinese community on various aspects in New York and the nation; 

(2) encouraging active civil and cultural engagement by Chinese community; and 

(3) promoting recognition and respect of Chinese communities’ contributions. Members of the Association shall consist of individuals who reside in Manhasset, who are interested in Chinese culture and who have paid the annual membership fees if any.

曼哈赛特协会(MACA)是根据美国国内税收法第501(c)(3)节和据此颁布的法规成立的纽约州非营利公益组织。协会将通过以下方式促进曼哈赛特华人社区更好地融入美国社会：

(1)向华人社区提供有关纽约和全国各方面的知识；

(2)鼓励华人社区积极参与公民和文化活动；

(3)促进对华人社区贡献的认可和尊重。协会成员由居住在曼哈赛特、对中国文化感兴趣并已缴纳年度会费(若有)的个人组成。
